Author's Note: This is a birthday present for one of my friends. Happy birthday, Sho-reincarnate! :D Oh, and as for the title, I couldn’t think of anything else. ^^U
A Spontaneous Relationship
It started out as a normal night in the city of Mallepa. Busy streets, cars everywhere, people walking in and out of buildings, ect. But for two certain vampires, things weren’t exactly ‘normal.’
“Sho?” Kei asked, finally deciding to voice the question he had been wanting to ask for a while.
“Nani?” Sho looked around- he had been watching TV –and looked at the other vampire.
“Why have you been acting so strangely?”
“What do you mean?” Sho was getting nervous. He had recently discovered his true feelings for the other vampire. Was he really making it obvious?
“I mean, you’ve been clinging to me a lot lately,” Kei replied, slightly tilting his head to one side. Sho thought it was adorable, and barely contained a smile.
“I dunno… I haven’t really noticed,” he said, truthfully.
“Well, you have. I swear, I never get any ‘me time’ anymore…”
“Sorry if I’ve been bugging you…” Sho said, feeling kind of guilty.
“You haven’t been bugging me, I was just curious.”
“Oh…well, that’s good,” he smiled awkwardly.

Sho was nervous.
It had been one week since the little talk with Kei, and he just couldn’t stop being so ‘clingy,’ like Kei had put it. He needed to be near the other man; needed to feel him, smell him, feel his presence, things like that. It was like Kei was a drug, and he was addicted to the point of no return.
“Uh, hey, Sho?” the other vampire’s voice shook him out of his musings, and Sho looked up.
“Nani, Kei?” He felt like he had a week ago.
“I…need to tell you something.”
Sho didn’t think he had ever seen Kei nervous.
“Nani?” He asked again.
“Umm…Well, I think I know…how you…feel…and…” Sho swore he felt his heart skip a few beats. It started beating at what felt like the speed of light when Kei walked over to him. “And…” he leaned forward, looked into his eyes, and kissed him quickly.
“I feel the same.”
Now Sho was certain his heart skipped several beats. He was too shocked to respond, making the other vampire take it the wrong way.
“I mean, if I was wrong, then just forget it…I mean, it’s not like-“Sho silenced him with a kiss.
“Don’t take it the wrong way, Kei-kun,” Sho whispered against Kei’s lips, “I feel the same way you do.”
“I…I-“Sho kissed him again.
“It’s okay, Kei-kun.”
“I love you, Sho-chan.”
“I love you too, Kei-kun.”
--End--
The end! I know, it’s terribly short. Horribly short, in fact. But I ran out of ideas, and I’m trying to write another story too…D: And this story takes place in a Mallepa where Kei and Sho didn’t commit suicide, in case you didn’t notice. :D |
